DESCRIPTION:Support the Ahr and compare worldwide Riesling and Pinot!\nThe Ahr valley suffered terrible losses during the recent floods. The vineyards – some of the best in Germany – were not spared. Let’s taste a couple of their signature wines – Riesling and Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) and learn about this great region. \nAt the same time\, we could try something very interesting: compare these varietals with Rieslings and Pinots from around the globe. I have examples from New Zealand\, Luxembourg\, France and Italy (list not exhaustive) – so we can see how climate\, soil and culture affect the wine in the glass. \nI will supply the maps and diagrams – as well as the bread\, meats and cheese – to make sure that the evening is enjoyable and educational. \nPlease make sure that you are vaccinated\, tested or recovered. \nThe venue is a beautiful airy apartment in Schöneberg – on the roof terrace weather permitting. \n  \nProst!
