Tuscan wine offers us so much to enjoy. Firstly, there are the delicious wines: fresh vibrant whites and exuberant, complex reds based on the “blood of Jupiter“ itself – Sangiovese.

Secondly, we have millennia of history, legends and intrigue. From the Etruscans, via the Romans, the renaissance and the introduction of the quality triangle system all the way to the great DOCG scandal of the 1970s!

I have a wonderful selection of 7 bottles that covers tradition and innovation, power and finesse. The line up includes Chianti, Brunello, Vino Nobile and the blockbuster Abundantia Supertuscan 2018 (4.4 on Vivino!).

Let’s taste them together at an excellent Italian restaurant in Mitte that offers both la cucina raffinata and good value dishes. The deal is that you commit to ordering at least a main course.
